The Office of Academic Computing (OAC) maintains an Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) pool of virtual desktops to access Pitt resources such as the CRC or EWI while on UPMC workstations or at home.
To request access to the Psychiatry AVD pool, please place a request in the OAC Request App. Pitt users, send an email to oac@pitt.edu.
Setup Instructions
1. Download the installer for the Remote Desktop Client from Microsoft's website here. Pick the "Windows 64-bit" version.
2. Run the installer you downloaded to install the software. Select the option to "Install just for you".
3.After the installation is complete, open Remote Desktop. The icon is an orange circle.
4. Click "Subscribe". Sign in with your PITT account.
5. If you are asked, select the option "No, sign into only this app"
6. You can now connect to the Psychiatry Virtual Desktop
