- Computer-related accessories and other peripherals, including external hard drives, printers, scanners, and video recorders that will be used for research on the UPMC network
See UPMC hardware standard pricing document for current hardware models and pricing information. Be sure to use a research cost center when ordering computers that will be used for research. Computers that are used for clinical programs must be ordered through the IT Service Portal using a clinical cost center.
As a reminder, all departmental-owned computers, monitors, peripherals, and other IT equipment used for research must first be approved by the Office of Academic Computing before purchase.
